The Batsford Encyclopaedia of Crafts

Andrew, H. E. Laye1982
This highly illustrated encyclopaedia brings together a specially selected range of nearly one hundred and fifty different crafts that will appeal to all levels of skill. It also contains the basic craft techniques needed, applying them to specific projects as well as providing inspiration for personal creativity. Traditional and country crafts are included, as are experimental processes in modern media, with most of the remaining crafts that you would expect to find - and a few others - in between. The book is a culmination of five years intensive research and co-operation between its author, an accomplished crafts teacher, and ourselves, publishers with over two hundred craft books in print.
