Choosing, felling, treating timber for masts and interior fittings; sourcing materials for ballast and arranging transport to the sea over eighty miles away. After shakedown voyages to the Hebrides he met his wife Else and together they embarked on a yearlong 10,000-mile voyage, full of incredible sights and sailing adventures.
