Brooke, Geoffrey, 1920-2003
Books, Manuscripts
When Singapore fell to the Japanese in February 1942 thousands of men, women and children were left to their own devices. To stay meant certain captivity and probably barbarity at the hands of the Japanese, so many tried to escape. This text tells of some of the experiences of those who tried to escape.
