Blue Solitude takes as its starting point a quote from Heraclitus: "I searched for myself"; yet the work is not constructed in a classic autobiographical/confessional mode. Instead it evokes memories and experiences through poetic sketches and atmospheric stills from unmade movies. It haunts and suggests, rather than describing and explaining. Each of the six scenarios explores the fragmentary nature of every day experience from a different angle.
