Catalogue of exhibition held at the Collins Gallery 8th to 30th September 1982.Early in 1882, eight women painters, teachers and art workers, all former students of Robert Greenlees at the Glasgow School of Art, then at Rose Street, decided to call a meeting. It was held at 136 Wellington Street in Greenlees' studio, and with his help and encouragement, there was formed the Glasgow Society of Lady Artists.
