During the dark days of the early 1940s, a covert military experiment turned Steve Rogers into America's first Super-Soldier, Captain America. In the closing months of WWII, Captain America and his partner Bucky were both presumed dead in an explosion over the English Channel. Decades later, a figure was found trapped in ice and Captain America was revived.
