'Exploring the isles of the west' is a compilation of Marc Calhoun's years of exploring the islands, recounting not only the physical journeys, but his own jouney from tourist to serious explorer dedicated to seeing and learning as much as possible about the islands. This volume describes visits to islands from Ailsa Craig to Jura, Mull and the Small Isles. It is not a guidebook.
